Petite Suite

for piano duet (1984)

The Petite Suite is the kind of work entering the category "péchés de jeunesse"... It was completed in 1984 and makes use of several first attempts at composition that occured in the previous years. It is dedicated to Joëlle Denys, a friend with whom the composer used to play some four hands piano music at that time. There are five movements:

• Prélude
• Espagnolade
• Mélancolie
• Marche
• Romance sans paroles
